Software Engineer
Verint • Jun 2024 - Present
ACE Award
  • At Verint, I worked on Process Discovery, an AI-powered platform that analyzes desktop activity and automatically generates process workflows and optimization recommendations. I was responsible for building the backend services and data pipelines that helped take the product from POC to production.
  • One of the biggest challenges was scalability. The original approach relied on screen recordings, which were expensive to process and difficult to operate at enterprise scale. I redesigned the pipeline around structured desktop activity data, reducing payload size by 98%, LLM costs by 81%, and processing time by 86%.
  • To support this transition, I built a multi-stage ingestion pipeline that transformed large volumes of raw desktop activity data into compact, LLM-ready interactions, enabling cost-effective and scalable process analysis.
  • The redesigned platform was recognized with Verint's ACE Award for Innovation for its impact on performance, scalability, and production readiness.
  • I also contributed to Work Assist, Verint's real-time message bus, where I reduced infrastructure costs by 20% through Kubernetes resource optimization, load testing, and capacity tuning.
  • Beyond cost optimization, I improved platform reliability by distributing workloads across 3 AWS Availability Zones and built an automated log-verification framework that reduced integration validation effort from ~1 hour to a few minutes.
Mentee
Microsoft • May 2022 - Jun 2022
Finalist
  • I was selected as a finalist for Microsoft's Cybersecurity Engage program, where I got a chance to learn directly from security engineers and leaders across Microsoft.
  • The program exposed me to areas of cybersecurity that were completely new to me at the time, including digital forensics, malware analysis, intrusion detection systems, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
  • As part of the program, I worked on a research paper exploring how critical power-grid infrastructure could be secured against cyber attacks. View Paper
Red Teamer
CybSec NITW • Jul 2021 - May 2024
  • My introduction to cybersecurity came through CybSec NITW, where I spent most of my time exploring web security, reverse engineering, binary exploitation, and other CTF challenges.
  • Most of my learning happened through CTFs, where I worked with teammates to solve security challenges and pick up offensive security skills along the way.
  • One of our best performances was finishing 29th nationally in a CTF competition, competing against teams from colleges across India.
  • In my third year of uni, I led and organized a CTF event at Technozion, NIT Warangal's annual tech fest, creating challenges and running an event with over 50 participants.
